We made it! It has been a long day of travel but all worth it. We took a nice bus tour through part of the city to the mission house we are staying for the next week. I think we are spoiled with air conditioning and hot water in our rooms.

Tomorrow we will be going on a "discovery walk" through a barrio (slum). One of the goals for this year is to find out what "their" individual and community needs are. Sometimes what we think they need, may not be what they want. We will see what we find out as we talk directly to those living here.

No pictures tonight but will post some tomorrow. Everyone is tired but we are all safe and in a good place.
